Restoration of a vintage buffet cabinet based on my photo. Preserve the original architecture, proportions, geometry, number of doors, shelves, and legs exactly. Keep the room background, walls, and floor completely unchanged – no new furniture, decorations, or architectural modifications.
Redesign the cabinet in a bold Pop Art / Memphis-inspired style. Use a vivid, high-saturation color palette: the main body in electric cobalt blue or bright magenta, the door fronts in glossy sunshine yellow or lime green. The interior (shelves and back) should be a striking contrast – tangerine orange or hot pink. Add color-blocked geometric patterns on the side panels or door edges.
Hardware must be unconventional: oversized, sculptural handles in the shape of rings, stars, or geometric knobs – made of polished chrome, mirror-finish gold, or even colored enamel (bright red or turquoise). Handles should be playful and eye-catching, proportional to the door size but deliberately bold.
Finishing: high-gloss or semi-gloss surfaces to enhance the vibrancy. Clean, sharp lines, no distressed textures. Lighting should be bright and even, with slight shadows to emphasize the graphic shapes. The result should be fun, energetic, and contemporary – a statement piece that turns the cabinet into an art object. No neutral or muted tones, no rustic or classic details.
