Restoration of a vintage buffet cabinet based on my photo. Preserve the original architecture, proportions, geometry, number of doors, shelves, and legs exactly. Keep the room background, walls, and floor completely untouched – do not add any new interior items or change the environment.
Transform the cabinet into an Art Deco / neo-classical masterpiece. Use a rich, high-contrast palette: the main body in deep midnight blue or charcoal black with a satin sheen, the doors adorned with decorative geometric inlays or raised panels in warm mahogany or walnut. The interior (shelves and back) should be a striking contrast – glossy burgundy or champagne gold.
Add luxurious details: stepped moldings, chevron or fan patterns on the door panels, and elegant hardware in polished gold or aged brass – long, faceted handles and hinge plates that echo the Art Deco period.
Finishing: a mix of matte and semi-gloss surfaces to play with light and reflections. Incorporate subtle metallic accents (gold lines or corners) to enhance the glamorous feel. Lighting should be dramatic – raking shadows that emphasize depth and the geometric precision. No rustic or casual elements – only opulent, sophisticated, timeless elegance.
